Description lakerssuperman 2011-07-10 23:57:15 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

This is more of a feature request, but I would love if there were more subtle animations in the desktop.

For example, in OSX when you open a blank document in Pages, it smoothly transforms to the whole window. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6LW8mBgtS0

Given the great integration and excellent frameworks in place, I think there are some great opportunities for using subtle animations such as this to enhance productivity. Imagine clicking a notification in the system tray and that notification transforms into the program or action you are requesting.

I appreciate all the hard work of the KDE community and thank you for a great desktop.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Run KDE

Actual Results:
Standard Desktop environment

Expected Results:
Subtle Animations

Thanks for KDE.

We're generally moving towards this, and it's a good idea, but I'm afraid this bug report is too broad to be actionable. :)
