Description Médéric Boquien 2011-07-09 06:42:43 UTC
Version: 2.1.1 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

Hello,

My mail setting accounts are properly set but since the migration of Arch to kmail 2, i cannot send emails anymore. Anytime i try to send an email i get the following message "There were problems trying to queue the message for sending: Unknown collection.". Note that even not "sending" but "queueing" the email yields the same message. No error message is displayed in the terminal when launching kmail directly. I checked akonadi console but i do not see anything suspicious (though i am not sure what i should look at precisely).

Thanks,

Médéric

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to send an email through SMTP.

Actual Results:
The email is not sent. "There were problems trying to queue the message for sending: Unknown collection."

Expected Results:
The email is sent.

For some reason after rebooting everything seems to work fine. Closing, sorry for the noise.

look at your identity->send folder (reconfigure it)

it's a horribly useless/confusing message anyway
