If you have incremental backup of database, it could help to investigate. Note : I manage picture on a production computer (more than 250000 items), and i never see this issue. I use SQlite DB. Gilles Caulier If you use SQLite, you can open the database file digikam4.db with the sqlite3 and do an integrity check: PRAGMA integrity_check; to rule out any problems here.
