Version:           1.0.80 (using KDE 4.6.4) 
OS:                Linux

kopete will disconnect and freeze if I close a chat window and the main window is closed.
if the main window (friends list) is open when I close the chat window, it is fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start kopete
2. open the friends list
3. double click on an online friend (don't enter text)
4. close friends list
5. close chat window 

Actual Results:  
after step 5, kopete disconnects and become frozen, I can access a few items like help, send bug report etc' but cannot IM at all or reconnect.
calling kopete from the message indicator does nothing, I can only access it by invoking it from cmd or start menu.
can only close it by killing the process. after restart everything is working

Expected Results:  
none of the actual results...

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-8-generic

no way to force start a crash report?
I can send a core dump, but its ~12 mb compressed

Feel free to close. The business value of trying to reproduce a bug from 7 years ago is 0.
