Description Balcaen John 2011-07-03 12:00:22 UTC
Version: 2.0.97 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

When kmail is refreshing an imap account (with a disconnect usage in my case) the list of folders available in the « Name » windows & the Favorites windows is constantly moving.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Refresh an imap account with several folders inside

Actual Results:
The order/hierarchy of the folder tree is a result of the last update folders
You can also have a look @ http://www.littleboboy.net/~mikala/kde/kmail.ogv

Expected Results:
The Account name should remains statics only the number of unread mails should be updated.

version 2.0.97 is pretty old by now.
you should consider installing KDEPIM 4.6 which includes kmail 2.1.0

So i probably choose the wrong version.
I'm using kdepim from KDE SC 4.7 RC1.

Ok now i understand why i choose 2.0.97, the about is kmail is referring to kmail 2.0.95 because the version was not changed in git cf :

Ah, thanks for the heads-up.
The version number will be increased to 2.1.96 for the next release.

I really want to do auto-versioning on KMail since we don't have anyone who reliably increments the version numbers for that app.

After an fresh configuration (the problem occurs on a migrated kmail with 2 bigs dimap folder) i'm not able to reproduce it anymore so i'm closing it.
