Created attachment 61362 [details] GUI mockup Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4) OS: Linux Kate would look much slicker if some tweaks would be done to its GUI: - make application menu optional: Dolphin already allows to hide the app menu with shortcut [CTRL]+[M] or with a toolbar button - hide scrollbars: scrollbars should not be grayed out when not needed but disappear completely Please have alook at my before/after mockup. Reproducible: Didn't try Expected Results: cleaner GUI
