If digikam provides some presets for the demosaicing tool's luminosity curve and each preset has a tag which manufacturer the curve fits it would be nice if digikam would automatically select the correct curve.

Beneath the curve there could be a drop-down menu with the following items:

Automatic (picks the profile for the manufacturer)
Custom (uses whatever the curve is set to and what is saved to digikamrc, as it is now)
Nikon preset (a supplied profile)
Panasonic preset (another supplied profile)
my personal preset (a saved profile)
