When choosing "Save As" in kolourpaint, it hangs for a minute before opening the Save As dialog box, if the computer is simultaneously reading a dvd.

I'm not sure whether this counts as a bug or as a weird feature, but reporting in case it's fixable. Haven't tested "Save As" in programs other than kolourpaint.

Stdout contains this - I previously turned off a lot of debug output, so there might be less output than otherwise:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start reading a dvd. (With bad sectors, may or may not be relevant to the problem.)
Start kolourpaint, choose "Save As".

Actual Results:  
kolourpaint hangs for a minute or so.

Expected Results:  
DVD-related programs like xine or mplayer perhaps perform badly, but programs that have nothing to do with DVDs such as kolourpaint are unaffected.

As kolourpaint uses the std. KDE file dialog, I assume you see the problem with all KDE programs.
kolourpaint does nothing special here.
