It's not entirely broken - when I reconnected, it updated a load of avatars. Could be even CM related.

Code to update the icon in the top corner is entirely broken. I Didn't see any code to update from external sources.

Needs a bit of more detailed research/testing than simply "doesn't work".

We can ship this bug. Removed from blocking release.
