- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Compiz running fine, ccsm opened, all I did was enable the "KDE/QT Event Loop" plugin. Compiz version 0.9.4.0. Everything compiz-related compiled myself (core, libcompizconfig, ccsm, plugins-main, etc), source tarballs downloaded from the website.

Compiz does not use the KDE bug tracker to manage issues. Please report this bug directly to Compiz developers at http://wiki.compiz.org/HowtoSubmitBugReports

My apologies; after Compiz crashed the KDE crash reporter opened, so I submitted a bug in case it might be related to KDE (because the plugin that caused the crash was the KDE/Qt event loop plugin). I will report it to the Compiz developers also.
