Description Elias Probst 2011-06-09 09:52:35 UTC
Version: git-latest (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

When doubleclicking on a contact in the KDE Telepathy Contact List and an already existing Text UI window is placed somewhere in the background, the Text UI window is neither brought to the foreground, nor is it marked in the task manager's window list with an event.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
→ Doubleclick a contact in contact list
→ Put the Text UI window which appeared into the background
→ Doubleclick again on a contact in contact list

Actual Results:
The Text UI window is neither
- put into the foreground
- marked with an event in the window list

Expected Results:
Either should the window in the window list be marked with an event (to make it's entry "blink" or whatever way the currently active window list uses to raise awareness) or the window should be placed automatically in the foreground.

It should be raising. I'm a bit stuck on this one, sent an email to the KWin mailing list.
