Description beast22 2011-06-08 15:04:09 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

When connecting to different networks, the program should switch not only IP-address and DNS, but also other network related settings: Default printer, mounted filesystems from servers (and maybe security related settings).

Reproducible: Always

When operating in different networks, I have always several things to configure manually: Typically the printer and other resources change and often there are different servers to connect to (e.g. for home, program and data directories). A simple solution to achieve this from within the systemsettings program might be to give the chance to run 'start' and 'stop' scripts for each specific network.

The Network Preferences settings module no longer exists.
