Hi there, could you add more available option in System Settings for the xine backend ? it would be great to have an option to activate : passthrough ac3 so people can have ac3 passtrought easily with dragon player.

As you can see in this topic there is a solution but it's not really user friendly

Sorry, but the xine backend is deprecated, since the upstream development of the Xine project is stalled.

Please use one of the other two available backends: phonon-backend-gstreamer and phonon-backend-vlc

but the problem is that vlc-backend or gstreamer does'nt provide such option only xine does
