I can confirm this (using KDE 4.10.2). This happens here even with local files using KDE 4.10.2 ... :/ I also find this, even with local files, with KDE 4.10.2. Same issue on KDE 4.13.0 with local files. File properties are still not being displayed when overwriting files, even local files. Running KDE 4.14.13. No longer relevant, since this dialog no longer shows metadata. In my opinion, this bug is still relevant. Metadata of source and destination files should always be shown when overwriting a file, the user rely on this information to decide what to do. I think this should still be fixed. If you don't, then close the bug as WONTFIX, not as INVALID. Fair enough. My sense is that removing the metadata display was a deliberate design decision, to moving to WONTFIX. |
