PDF with Japanese Text

Version: 0.12.2 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

Okular and evince display squares instead of japanese characters when displaying Japanese PDF files.

I have installed the recommended poppler-data packages and all japanese language packs and fonts.

I can copy the squares from the PDF file and paste them on kate/chrome were they are then displayed correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try open the attached PDF with okular

Actual Results:
I see a bunch of squares were japanese characters should appear.

Expected Results:
Display the japanese characters instead of squares.

This is happening since I installed kubuntu 10.04 (now I am on 11.04). Kubuntu 8.04 had no problems after installing poppler-data as may posts/bogs recommend.

Okular just uses poppler to render the PDF files, so please open a bug in the poppler bugzilla at https://bugs.freedesktop.org
