Description Marek Andreansky 2011-06-04 20:09:27 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

When I'm using search and search for a word that has special characters (Dlhé - notice the special E) by just typing Dlhe, it won't register a match.

Adding this feature would be very welcome, and I can imagine quite a few user cases where this would prove useful (Google Chrome uses this method for search and it's a big plus for many users) - many users have to work with files in their local language for reading but usually use the English language or keyboard for writing stuff.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Just to make sure, you do not mean case insensitive, that (e vs E) but ignoring diacritic marks (e vs é), right?

Yes, I meant ignoring diacritic marks.
