Description pagoda 2011-05-30 05:57:58 UTC
Version: 1.1.2 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

I installed Muon to replace KPK and after removing KPK, four packages remained in the auto-removable category marked 'not-installed'. I assumed these were remnants required by KPK, selected the purge option but was unable to apply these changes. I reselected the purge option again along with install one new update, and the 'Apply' button was now functional and did indeed remove the four packages mentioned. Is this a 'first run" anomaly as I believe Synaptic suffered recently with the intro of 11.04?

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
Was able to select purge, packages were marked for pending purge, not able to apply

Should simply purge as per selected

This turns out to be a bug in APT itself, and not with QApt/Muon. It is being tracked in the Launchpad bug tracker at https://launchpad.net/bugs/815844
