Bump? Close to a year's anniversary of this bug... I'd do the changes, but I need approval from the rest of the translation team. Well, it's true that month & weekday names shouldn't be written capitalized in Spanish, but only when they appear in the middle of a sentence. When they appear isolated (as in column headers) or at the beginning of a sentence, they should begin with uppercase. IMHO this bug report conceals a subtle issue: as month & weekday names only appear isolated in PO files and they are used everywhere (isolated or in the middle of a sentence), it's really hard to detect when the first letter should go in uppercase or in lowercase. Maybe a bit of Transcript in PO files would do the magic. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Dear Bug Submitter, This is a reminder that this bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? This bug will be moved back to REPORTED Status for manual review later, which may take a while. If you are able to, please lend us a hand. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Closing this longstanding bug because I can't find month and weekday names in uppercase in today translations. |
