Sentry Crash Report:

Description Manuel López-Ibáñez 2011-05-24 13:46:27 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

User case: Remap the shortcut for "Lock Screen"
Problem: The user does not know to which KDE component this command belongs. The search field only searches within one component.

The selection of a KDE component is obscure to the user, who doesn't know much about them. It is also redundant with Action tree displayed, which already show the component name.

I would suggest to remove the selection step and list all components (collapsed) in the action tree view. Search should work across all components and selectively uncollapse those that match the search criteria.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38-8-generic-pae
Compiler: cc
