Version: 0.12 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Search highlight color is identical with annotation marker color. This is confusing and makes you think you have an annotation or you cannot find the searched text any more. Make it possible and default to change one or both of the colors.

Reproducible: Always

Hi,

I can confirm this bug and it's pretty annoying.

If you have a pdf with many annotations, this makes search virtually useless, as you can't differentiate between an annotation and a search result (both are yellow).

As this has been reported in mid 2011 and hasn't even gotten a response, I'm bumping this up again in the hopes a developer sees it.

I added more information (including screenshots, to easily spot the problem,) in bug 311034 . Sorry for reporting a duplicate, I searched before but did not find this bug back then.

Since Okular 0.17 (KDE/4.11), you can change the default highlighter color, so I'm closing this bug.
