String from examples/mailreader/kmail-plasma/plasma-applet-kpapplet.desktop

9 translation teams have put their email addresses into translation (http://l10n.kde.org/dictionary/compare-translations.php?package=kdepim&filename=desktop_kdepim.po&compare=Your+emails)

There are 2 options on how to fix this:
1. change the string
2. add context strings (this is worse, because: 1. I don't know how to add a context strings for a message from .desktop file, 2. Some translators ignore contexts).

Reproducible: Always




I know that kmail-plasma is in examples/ and it doesn't compile.

Christophe I find totally worrysome that you are notified of a problem affecting your software and when asked which of two ways you prefer to sort the issue you say "Not a kontact", when it is WRONG, people translating wrong your strings is YOUR issue because YOUR software is the one affected, so next time please try to be a little bit more helpful.

A context is there to disambiguate a string. The string 'your emails' in a .desktop file hardly enters this category.

Being helpful would be to notify the concerned translators using the l10n ML (which afaics, didn't happen as of today. I guess you're not worried about the real issue).

If kdepim people is not concerned about having their application translated why should I? Anyhow, the context was added and thus the string will be fuzzied and thus people will have to recheck and retranslate the string, so you are wrong in sayint the translators were not notified.

Yes, the string is obvious and translators didn't have trouble to translate it according to the first link. A few of them just entered their email address instead of translating a string from an example application which is not built by default (and has nothing to do with Kontact)

Ok, i understand "not a kontact bug" better, sorry about that.
