Crash is in libkexiv2 (perhaps Exiv2 but trace is incomplete). Can you identify the image file and attach to this entry for investigations ? Which libkexiv2 and Exiv2 version you use ? Got to Help/Components Info for details Gilles Caulier We need also a copy of your GPX file. Thanks Gilles Caulier Created attachment 60201 [details]
gpx file that causes a crash
Here is the version information LibExiv2 0.21.1 LibKExiv2 1.2.0 Exiv2 0.21.1 The crash happens with any image file and gpx. I've attached a gpx file and uploaded a Nikon raw and jpeg file which cause the crash. http://www.mjs-website.co.uk/digikam_bugreport/DSC_0001.jpeg http://www.mjs-website.co.uk/digikam_bugreport/DSC_0001.NEF /usr/lib/libkexiv2.so.8, as visible in your backtrace, is a libkexiv2 version 1.0.0, released with KDE4.4. libkexiv2 1.2.0 has libkexiv2.so.9. Probably, the plugin links to an older version of libkexiv2 installed in parallel. I am very picky here because I know bugs have been fixed in that area. We need feedback using a recent version. 2.0.0 RC is out, please test... Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier I've just tested with 2.0.0 RC and the correlator worked fine. Thanks. |
