- What I was doing when the application crashed:

very often plasma shell crashes overnight. I don't run any extra cron jobs on top of what suse 11.4 might already have running.  there are few plasmoids running : network, cpu, news, folder view and analog clock. there is also a screensaver.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
