I suspect a crash from libpgf. In 2.0.0 RC (just released) there is a major update with a lots of fixes about libpgf. Can you test with this version ? Gilles Caulier We need feedback using a recent version. 2.0.0 RC is out, please test... Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier Sorry, the packaged version I currently have on my distribution is the 1.9.0. I think I encounter this problem when the cursor is focusing on one of the pictures, on which I change the name or I update the EXIF. Thank you very much for your work. Benoît Bâlon. It must solve your problem... Gilles Caulier *** Bug 284745 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** digiKam 2.2.0 is out since few weeks. Crash still valid with this version ? digikam (1.9.0) on KDE Platform 4.6.5 (4.6.5) using Qt 4.7.2
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Attempting to download 150 photos from SD card. Have experienced this same issue when attempting to download fewer pics, approximately 40-50. If I select a handful at a time, perhaps <20, the crash doesn't happen. The camera is a Nikon D5100 and the card, which is inserted in my laptop's card reader, is a 16GB SanDisk.
