First of all, to play mp3 files you need to install the appropriate codecs. Since Kubuntu 11.04 switched to gstreamer you should install the ubuntu-restricted-extras package. We do not recommend to use the xine backend anymore, since there has been a big improvement on the other two backends that are gstreamer and vlc. Please use one of these. This is really fixed, but the version this is fixed in is not released yet. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 210427 *** |
