Kontact freezes at startup. kmail & korganizer & kadressbook can be started independently

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start the program 

Actual Results:  
The overview and the tips screen appear, but nothing can be clicked

Expected Results:  
I should be able to click the welcom screen awya and start working, but the interface is frozen

Linux mandriva 2010.2, kernel version: 2.6.33.7-desktop586-2mnb
