I'm currently staring at a grey Migrator window while my notebook's fan is going crazy.  Last entry from the migration.log I digged up:
[Mon May 9 14:07:35 2011] Info   : Starting cache migration for folder Spam of account Remote Folders

That folder is huge, a few thousand or tens of thousands mails.  Looks like the Migrator tries to do the whole folder in one go and forgets to update the GUI.

As a normal user I'd be tempted to kill that process.

I can confirm this issue. I've migrated an IMAP account with about 50.000 emails and sometimes the progress bar looked as being freezed.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
