A file that was a member of my project was deleted.  i went to remove it by right clicking on the file in the list of the files in the project.  The right click caused Kile to crash.  This is semi-reproducible.  I eventually found a particular ordering of operations that worked.  I think I had to left click on the file to select it first, rather than let the right click do the selection and open the menu at the same time.
