If the screen's brightness is set to the lowest value, the screen should be turned off when trying to decrease the screen's brightness further (using the function keys). It's an easy way to turn the screen off on demand, and save battery power.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Decrease the brightness of the screen to it's lowest value and attempt to decrease it one more step.

Actual Results:  
Screen stays dimmed on its lowest value, but doesn't turn off.

Expected Results:  
Screen and back-light are turned off.

If it turns back on when a key is pressed or the mouse is moved, then maybe yes. If you explicitely need to "up" the brightness to see a picture again, then no.

This should be implemented in the hardware (many laptops do that), but we should not take care of it ourselves.

Gonna close it as a WON'T Fix.

Thanks for reporting, if you really really think this is an essential feature to implement reopen the bug and we can discuss an alternative way of implementing this, but it won't be enabled ior shipped by default.
