i have the following folder structure:
kmail-folders
   -> wildcard
      -> green
        -> sth1
        -> sth2
        -> ...

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
moved all mails (around 200) from sth2 to trash

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

i just switched to 4.5.95 (I'm not sure what version was considered stable before, I've been using the same version for about half a year, I think it was 4.5 or 4.4 - the last version before the switch to akonadi-storage)... After the switch kmail recognized my favourite folders from my older install but before and during the crash the contents of the favourite folder-view flashed between two contents:
 a) my real favourite folders
 b) my favourite folders + three other folders (always the same three)
where "flashing" means: switching between a & b in a ~500ms interval
