I think you hit this already fixed bug: http://bugs.kde.org/212941 The fix for that bug is very recent (less than two weeks), OpenSuse did not have the time to update their packages. The Plasma NM version shiped in OpenSuse 11.4 (plasmoid-networkmanagement-0.9.svn1192577) uses outdated Plasma NM snaphot from November of last year. If that is the package version you are using then you need to wait until OpenSuse provides a more recent package with the fix. Which version of Plasma NM (plasmoid-networkmanagement in OpenSuse nomenclature) do you use?
