This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
Created attachment 58834 [details] Akonadi self-test report Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE 4.6.1) OS: Linux I selected "Make Backup" from Akonaditray. After selecting the backup location, I click on Next. I then get an error message about the backup process ending unexpectedly. In ~/.xsession-errors, I get: akonaditray(22256) Backup::create: Executed: "/usr/bin/mysqldump" ("--single-transaction", "--master-data=2", "--flush-logs", "--triggers", "--result-file=/tmp/kde-tmac/akonadiBBzE8A/db/database.sql", "--socket=/home/tmac/.local/share/akonadi/socket-asus/mysql.socket", "akonadi") Result: 2 Akonadi seems to work fine in other regards, together with kmail, korganizer and kaddressbook. I have attached the akonadi self-test report. Reproducible: Didn't try
