Description markuspetz 2011-04-10 17:12:35 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: MS Windows

I try and install KDE from the www.winke.de as per instructions on the KDE website.

I also selected amarok here as that is the ONLY program I want to run with KDE in Windows - I use dual boot KUBUNTU for all other non-windows progs.

Can not create directory C:/Program Files/bin
repeatedly shows. Although I can see some files are in the start up menu. However amarok does not run.

I still get this error as reported in the bug here:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=270564

windows 7 sp1 is the os.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Uninstall Amarok 2 something. See that not all folders are removed, manually remove them. Try and install 2.4 GIT - see that it does not work due to missing KDE libraries.

Try and install KDE.

Actual Results:
kde does not seem to create folders as it should
