a small idea: Letting the background colour of the panel(s) be set dynamically depending on which colours are present in the visible windows on the screen. Similar to the Phillips backlight on some of their flat screen TVs. Of course it should only be an option.

Plasma 4 has been unsupported for several years, and this doesn't really match the Plasma 5 Breeze aesthetic.
