Version: GIT (master) (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

I'm using a global GroupDAV calendar on our company's groupware server and managed to miss some appointments due to the fact, that these events didn't have any reminders set.

As other calendar clients seem to have an option to remind the user about every item, other people don't see a need for setting item specific reminders.

I'd like to see an option for korgac which makes it possible to raise a reminder for every item in the calendar. Maybe it should be configurable to do this for all items or only for those, which don't have a reminder set at all.

The settings for this generic reminder could be just copied from the item specific reminder settings.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Maybe it would make sense to move this functionality to Akonadi instead. Then it wouldn't be restricted to korgac itself, but could be provided in a generic way to every Akonadi using calendar application.

This would make much more sense IMHO, so re-assigning the product/component.
