Description Richard Hartmann 2011-04-08 12:02:36 UTC
Version: 2.8 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

While it's nice to have the option, it's a Very Bad Thing to default to remembering the Hex/Dec/Oct/Bin setting by default. I can't count how often I started calculation something in Hex by mistake.

Please disable this or make it optional.

I have thought long and hard about how to file this. I went with Major as this actually does cause data loss for me. I am sorry if that seems harsh, but it's really a deal-breaker for me.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38-2-686
Compiler: gcc

Hi!

I change severity to a "wish", because this is a new feature.

How would the best solution of this bug look like? Could you please describe?

Thank you for the bug report.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

It's still the same behavior, but the UI makes it both harder to hit and easier to detect. Closing.

Thanks for triaging, Justin!
