Sometimes when I try to reconnect to an imap server after my internet intermittently disconnects, or I suspend to ram and then restart, and kmail is trying to connect to the imap server  before it's available, the inbox is unusable. Clicking on a message will make it either disappear (also reported in separate kde bugzilla report) or the message will refuse to come up, and then crash after it's clicked on multiple times (as per this bug).

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
