Description Michal Hlavinka 2011-03-31 11:05:54 UTC
Version: 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

When doing a search in krusader, file names containing no extension are split to basename.extension based on dot in preceding path.

/home/user/log1.1.2011/results is displayed as basename=/home/user/log1.1 and extension="2011/results"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
start search for file with no extension in directory containing dot its name

Actual Results:
split based on dot in directory name

Expected Results:
shown as file with no extension

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38.1-6.fc15.x86_64
Compiler: gcc

confirmed
Comment 2 Björn Hendriks 2012-06-21 10:23:17 UTC
I can confirm this with Krusader 2.3.0-beta1 on KDE 4.8.3 on an up-to-date Debian Testing, AMD64.
Comment 3 Davide Gianforte 2016-12-25 21:02:30 UTC
Can't reproduce in 2.4.0beta3, can you try on that version or in 2.5.0?
Comment 4 Björn Hendriks 2016-12-29 13:41:02 UTC
Like David, I also cannot confirm this any more with Krusader 2.4.0-beta3 on KDE platform 4.14.2 provided by Debian stable repos.
Comment 5 Davide Gianforte 2018-01-30 06:36:26 UTC
No response, closing. Since Krusader 2.3.0, both Krusader and Qt were heavily rewritten. Anyone is free to reopen this bug if it reappears.
