Description Jörg Hartmann 2011-03-30 09:40:06 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

Sending via SSL is no problem and works fine, but when it comes to TLS sending, no matter what the authentication is, I get the error: "5.7.0 Sender address does not belong to logged in user {mp046}"
So basically 5 of my 6 email accounts don't work, same problem with any account that uses TLS.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Chose TLS encryption for sending emails, then send email. You can also let KMail autodetect encryption and authentication, it still does not send mails.

Actual Results:
Mail is not send, instead I get the notification "5.7.0 Sender address does not belong to logged in user {mp046}"

Expected Results:
send mail

Cannot reproduce with the gmx.com smtp server (which supports TLS)

Looking at your error message, I tend to think it's a setup problem (sender email doesn't belong to the smtp login you use)
