And the following note is mandatory: If your ISP does not support WPAD discovery via DHCP, you have to set host name to belong to the domain where you want to search for the WPAD script, otherwise you will get those annoying notifications "Could not find a usable proxy configuration script". Note: Unlike in Mozilla Firefox and many other reasonable software out there, search domains are NOT CONSIDERED so specifying them will not help.
