The CD ripping interface for k3b has a number of references to CDDB, but it does not work with CDDB.  CDDB is a specific database that was taken over by Gracenote and apparently no longer even is marketed under that name.  k3b is set up to work with freedb instead and doesn't work with CDDB at all.  The references to CDDB on the tracks page and in the settings should be replaced by something else -- perhaps "CD Database", "Database", or even "freedb".  Calling that database CDDB is inaccurate and misleading.
