Version:           2.0.1 (using KDE 4.6.1)

k3b is able to retrieve CD descriptions from CDDB or freedb. (Confusingly, the track page indicates CDDB but the settings indicate freedb.) However, there doesn't seem to be a way to submit entries to the database even though the settings provide a way of specifying a Net address for doing that, at Settings / CDDB / Submit.  There's a way to save entries locally, but that's not the same thing.

+1 for this functionality.  After installing kde-config-cddb package, I can access the settings page for CDDB configuration.  However, there is no GUI button I could find to submit the data to freedb.

In k3b 1.0.5, it appears that the code to do this was present:

However, in k3b 2.0.2 I could not find this same code.  Seems to be something that was removed at some point.
