When I decompress file-foo.gz, it truncates it to 400 bytes.

file-foo is a big text file (like 300 kilobytes), compressed to ~50 KB.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create big text file (300 KB), and compress it to file-foo.gz
2. Uncompress using KDE Ark

-or-

1. Use the attached "mytextfile.gz", and decompress it


Actual Results:  
Extracted file is truncated at 400 bytes

Expected Results:  
Extracted file must be full 300 KB.

NOTE: Using "gunzip" CLI utility decompresses correctly.

Tested in openSUSE 11.4 (KDE 4.6.0) and Debian 6.0 (KDE 4.4.5).
Same bug.

Hi, I don't see any "mytextfile.gz" attached to the report.
