KCharSelect is not an on-screen-keyboard. Use kvkbd, xvkbd, viki, or the Plasma "Keyboard" applet. In case you are in the same situation again, you can just select the CR character in Konsole, and copy&paste it. >In case you are in the same situation again, you can just select the CR >character in Konsole, and copy&paste it. it is posible to generate it with console or with kcharmap? i found a workaround for the issue: with kcharmap i generate: ls -l;# and paste it, then i look for some text in kcharmap for example "General Character Properties Block: Basic Latin Unicode category: Letter, Uppercase" and select from the last e form Uppercase but at the end of it it is an enter equivalent. (very funny workaround. but it is enough) >"CharSelect is not an on-screen-keyboard. Use kvkbd, xvkbd, viki, or the Plasma >"Keyboard" applet. You are absolutelly rigth. The plasma-keyboard applet is part of kdebase-workspace, so it is installed by default. Sadly i never noticed it existence... Tried the plasma-keyboard applet, it loads ok, odly i cannot do anything with it. It takes the focus from the app / dialog & clicking keys on it does nothing. (the physical keyboard is still attached) > Tried the plasma-keyboard applet, [...] i cannot do anything with it.
Please report this as a separate bug for Plasma.
