probably related to bug #268968 and a bunch of other "crash after resume from STR" issues. There seems to occur a memory corruption in this process. Possibly related to the OpenGL context? Please try whether it works a) w/o compositing (SHIFT+Alt+F12 would be sufficient) b) the xrender backend (advanced tab in "kcmshell4 kwincompositing") this only happens occasionally. i'll try running with xrender for a while. reassigning to Oxygen as the crash happens in the deco. Does indeed look like no memory left to allocate anything. Could it also be an issue with hibernate itself (suspend to Ram), filling the entire Ram and swap ? Do you still have this issue in latest KDE/OpenSUSE? > Do you still have this issue in latest KDE/OpenSUSE?
no. i haven't seen this crash in the last few releases.
Thanks, mark as resolved. |
