I've got the same problem (Gentoo ~amd64). However, it's not completely true (at least for me) that nothing happens when "rightalt+o" gets pressed. *Some*thing happens then, because the very next key pressed (any key) is eaten. As if it treated "rightalt+o" as a begin of a "keyboard shortcut chord" (maybe it's so, although I reviewed all shortcut lists and didn't find anything like this). Łukasz, you are right. I can confirm that after hitting "rightalt+o" next key pressed is eaten in my system too. I reviewed kmail shortcut list and found nothing either. Only happens with kmail ? This is working with kmail from git-master, it shows a ø Yes, it happens only with kmail. External application launched from kmail (eg. kaddressbook) work fine. And it seems independent of keyboard layout, I tried many different layouts with the same effect. If the code from the master repository works OK, maybe it's a debug hack left accidentally in the code of 1.13.6 and then removed? Works as expected in KMail2. The issue will be resolved in kdepim 4.6 |
