I can't reproduce this with konsole-2.7.999. And this report should be categorized as 'general', instead of 'kpart'. Version is too old. KDE3 is long gone. |
Created attachment 58151 [details] backtrace from konsole crash Version: 1.6.4 (using KDE 1.2) OS: Linux Certain action combinations are consistently crashing konsole. I've described the steps to reproduce this below. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open konsole Open two new sessions (by clicking on icon in bottom left corner twice) detach middle session (but don't first bring it forward/make it active) detach rightmost session (now the foreground/active session) Actual Results: The KDE Crash Handler pops up, informing me that The application Konsole (konsole) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV). Expected Results: I expect the terminal to detach all of the sessions cleanly. I am using KDE on a Linux desktop system at work. The distribution is CentOS. Output from uname -a is Linux flywheel.cgd.ucar.edu 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5.centos.plus #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 18:13:47 EST 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I do not control the system administration. I do not get a backtrace. However, when my sysadmin repeats the actions listed above as root on another system, he gets a backtrace from the crash. I've attached his backtrace.
