Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I have "retested" this today - after not having used Kblocks for several years. The scoring rules seem still to be as described in the bug report. However, that hardly matters now - my high score list based on the old scoring rules is long gone, and so, I suspect, is everybody else's, so this is hardly going to bother anybody now. I don't really understand the way Kblocks works now. The present scoring rules - in combination with the difficulty level increase logic - means that it takes forever, even at the hardest difficulty setting, to get the game to a point when there is actually any challenge involved in playing it. This, however, seems to be by design (see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267859) ... so, basically, I can just play some other game and leave Kblocks to those who want it the way it is. As far as I am concerned, this bug can be closed now. :) Thanks for the update! |
