Version:           1.9.0 (using KDE 4.6.1) 
OS:                Linux

I print my pictures using Digikam and Kipi-plugins. I have observed this bug only when I tried to print 3 photos 10x15cm per A4-pages, which is in the predefined options. With this option, two photos per pages are printed verticaly, one horizontaly.
When I print more than 3 pictures, some pictures are streched, not cropped -landscapes are made portraits and conversely.
Moreover, there are no problem on the first printed page! Only the second one and those after are affected.
All the pictures I tried with were from the same camera, with the same size, and so on.



Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Select some pictures and launch the printing assistant. It seems to react differently to different sets of pictures.
Take two pictures, launch the assistant, ask for 3 of each picture, ask for 3 10x15cm pictures per page, keep the default croping and clic Finish, then print to pdf to save trees.

Actual Results:  
Depends on the two pictures selected. Whether it's great, lucky boy, whether on the second page, the verticals pictures are streched or the horizontal one is. I attached a pdf showing the first and the second page.

Expected Results:  
Three identical pictures on the second page.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
Printer: Canon iP4600 - For additional tests, I used the PDF module.

This file still valid using kipi-plugins 2.4 ?

Sorry for the late answer. The bug still lives using the 2.3 kipi-plugins. I could not manage yet installing the 2.4 version, the repositories of my distribution do not contain this last version, and I failed using the git version. I will resume trying this installation later on and keep you posted.

benjamin, i've tried with digikam 1.9.0 and the one from git, i cannot get your 
output, mine is ok.
Can you please provide the original picture? I could try to see if it's due to something wrong in using it.

The bug is still happening. Here is an output and the original file. Using Digikam 7.0.0, Kipi 20.04.3 on Arch-Linux.

I'm happy to say I could no longer reproduce with Digikam 8.0.0.
