and a line with an Arrow please *** Bug 313421 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Maybe clicking on the thumbnail could load the image in a default application. If the default was set to kolourpaint initially then it would be relatively trivial to edit the picture.. instead of having to hunt for one in all of the "Send To" options. *** Bug 331140 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Drawing primitives is very handy for testers, managers and users alike. This would make ksnapshot a really competitive tool (given it already has support for export through KIPI plugins). I am currently working on a project called kreenshot-editor which will at least allow for drawing basic objects like rectangles, ellipses, lines, arrows. When it is ready kreenshot-editor could be integrated to ksnapshot via command line call or QWidget component. The current state of the project can be reviewed here: http://kreenshot.wordpress.com/ *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** The kreenshot-editor prototype website moved to here: http://feinstaub.github.io/kreenshot-editor/index.htm#!index.md Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you! The bug tracking annotation tools in Spectacle is Bug 372464. And good news: it's in progress!
